Product introduction

Piat 30 mg/10 mg Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of diabetes with high cholesterol. It helps to control blood sugar levels and prevents long-term complications associated with diabetes. This medicine also reduces bad cholesterol and increases good cholesterol in our body.

Piat 30 mg/10 mg Tablet should be taken in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It may be taken with or without food, preferably at a fixed time. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

It may cause side effects like muscle pain, weight gain, edema, increased liver enzymes, bone fracture, and respiratory tract infection. However, these are temporary and usually subside on their own. Please consult your doctor in case these do not resolve or persist for a longer duration.

Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have any kidney, liver or heart problems. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor before taking it. Your doctor will check your kidney function tests before starting treatment with it. Avoid excessive alcohol intake while taking it as this may increase the risk of developing some side effects.

Benefits of Piat Tablet

In Diabetes with high cholesterol

Piat 30 mg/10 mg Tablet helps control diabetes along with high cholesterol. It contains an anti-diabetic medicine that helps to control high blood glucose (sugar) levels. It helps get rid of extra glucose from your body through urine. Additionally, it also contains Atorvastatin, a medicine that works by reducing the amount of “bad” cholesterol (LDL) and raising the amount of “good” cholesterol (HDL) in your blood. High levels of cholesterol can cause your blood vessels to narrow (atherosclerosis). Lowering the amount of cholesterol reduces the chances of heart diseases and helps you remain healthier for longer.
Managing blood glucose levels is an essential part of managing diabetes. If you can control the level you will reduce the risk of getting any of the serious complications of diabetes such as kidney damage, eye damage, nerve problems, and loss of limbs. Taking this medicine regularly along with proper diet and exercise will help you live a normal, healthy life.
