Polivy 140 mg Injection is a medicine used in combination with other medicines to treat a certain type of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL). Polivy 140 mg Injection belongs to a class of medications called antibody-drug conjugates. It works by killing cancer cells.
Polivy 140 mg Injection is administered as an injection under the supervision of a doctor or a nurse. Get the injection in the exact dose and duration advised by the doctor. Your doctor will decide what dose is necessary and how often you need to take it. Do not stop getting the injection unless your doctor tells you to.
The most common side effects of this medicine include peripheral neuropathy, nausea, fatigue, diarrhea, constipation, and hair loss. If any of these side effects persist or get worse, let your doctor know. They may be able to help by adjusting the dose or suggest ways to treat the symptoms. While on treatment with this medicine, your doctor may advise regular blood tests.
Before taking it, tell your doctor if you have heart disease, liver, or planning surgery or vaccination or are taking any medicines to treat infections. Many other medicines can affect, or be affected by, this medicine so let your doctor know all medications you are using. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. The use of effective contraception by both males and females during treatment is important to avoid pregnancy.

How Polivy Injection works
Polivy 140 mg Injection works by binding with cancer cells and releasing a chemical called monomethyl auristatin E, into the cell causing the cancer cells to die or stop growing.

What if you forget to take Polivy Injection?
If you miss a dose of Polivy 140 mg Injection, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
