How Potentox Injection works
Potentox 500 mg/2000 mg Injection is a combination of two medicines: amikacin and cefepime. Amikacin is an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Cefepime is also an antibiotic that works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Together, these medications eradicate the bacterial infection effectively.
