It is advised to take Ramitip-MT 50mg/5mg Tablet with food at a fixed time each day to maintain consistent levels of medicine in the blood. Keep taking it for as long as advised by your doctor. Even if you feel well, do not stop this medicine on your own because high blood pressure often has no symptoms. If you stop taking it, your condition may get worse. Keeping active with regular exercise, reducing your weight and eating a healthy diet will also help control your blood pressure. Follow your doctor’s advice while taking this medicine.
Some common side effects of this medicine include nausea, dry cough, headache, weakness, decreased blood pressure, and increased potassium level in blood. It is advised to avoid potassium rich food and supplements while taking this medicine. It may cause dizziness, avoid driving or rise slowly from the sitting position. You may be asked for regular monitoring of blood pressure, blood sugar level, kidney functioning, urea, or electrolytes level during the treatment.

How Ramitip-MT Tablet works
Ramitip-MT 50mg/5mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Metoprolol and ramipril which lower blood pressure effectively. Metoprolol is a beta blocker which works by slowing down the heart rate and makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood around the body. Ramipril is an ACE inhibitor which reduces stress on the heart and relaxes blood vessel so that blood flows more smoothly.

Ramitip-MT 50mg/5mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Ramitip-MT 50mg/5mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Ramitip-MT 50mg/5mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

What if you forget to take Ramitip-MT Tablet?
