It may also help to reduce chances of future heart attack and stroke. This medicine should be taken with food regularly at a fixed time each day. Lifestyle changes like low-fat diet, exercise, and not smoking may help this medicine work better. This medicine may cause side effects like dizziness, cough, and joint pain.

How Rasilez Hct Tablet works

Rasilez Hct 300 mg/12.5 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Aliskiren and Hydrochlorothiazide. Aliskiren is a direct renin inhibitor. It works by blocking an enzyme (renin) which causes the blood vessels to tighten. This relaxes blood vessels, lowers blood pressure and allows the heart to pump more efficiently. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic. It removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body by increasing the amount of urine produced. Over time it also works by relaxing blood vessels and improves blood flow.

Rasilez Hct 300 mg/12.5 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Rasilez Hct 300 mg/12.5 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

What if you forget to take Rasilez Hct Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Rasilez Hct 300 mg/12.5 mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Persistent high arterial blood pressure above 120/80 mm HG is termed as pre-hypertension or hypertension, but the point to be emphasized is that this rise in blood pressure is persistent. Transient increase in BP occurs in stress and anxiety and needs to be treated accordingly.
