Sandox CP 50mg Tablet is an antibiotic that effectively treats a variety of bacterial infections of the eye, ear, nose, throat, tooth, lungs, brain, gastrointestinal tract, skin, and soft tissue in children. It may also be used to prevent malaria. Sandox CP 50mg Tablet has also been found useful in aiding COVID-19 treatment.
Give Sandox CP 50mg Tablet to your child orally, either 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal. Avoid giving milk and other dairy products to your child within a few hours of giving Sandox CP 50mg Tablet. Also, prevent your child from lying down for at least 1 hour after taking this medicine to prevent irritation in the throat. Prefer giving it at about the same time each day as that will help you remember. The dose will depend on the severity and type of infection, body weight, and age of your child. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of intake, help the child calm down and repeat the same dose, but make sure to never double up the dose if it is time for the next dose.

- Maintain a sufficient time gap between meals and medicine intake as giving it before food poses a risk of stomach upset but giving it after food may reduce its absorption.
