Product introduction

Scleteri 7mg Tablet is a medicine used in the treatment of relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS). It works by limiting the function of specific immune cells that cause nerve damage in multiple sclerosis. This way it prevents relapse as well as reduces the progression of the disease.

Scleteri 7mg Tablet may be taken with or without food. Take it regularly and at the same time each day to get maximum benefits from it. Do not stop taking until you have completed the course. Regular blood and urine tests to monitor your blood cells, kidney and liver function may be required during treatment with this medicine.

Common side effects of this medicine include increased liver enzyme, hair loss, diarrhea, influenza, and nausea. If any of these side effects bother you, let your doctor know. They may be able to help ways to treat or manage the side effects.

This medicine should not be taken by pregnant women. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. Let your doctor also know if you have any other medical conditions. Additionally, tell your doctor about all the other medicines you are taking to make sure it is safe for you.

How to use Scleteri Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Scleteri 7mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Scleteri Tablet works

Scleteri 7mg Tablet is an immunomodulatory medication. It works by limiting the function of specific immune cells (T and B cells) that cause nerve damage in multiple sclerosis.

Driving
UNSAFE
Scleteri 7mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney
CAUTION
Scleteri 7mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Scleteri 7mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
UNSAFE
Scleteri 7mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.

What if you forget to take Scleteri Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Scleteri 7mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
