Serocit 46.7% Injection is used for treating various respiratory tract disorders associated with excessive mucus. It thins and loosens mucus in the nose, windpipe and lungs making it easier to cough out.
It may be taken with or without food. But, It is better to take it in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Before taking it, inform doctor if you have suffered or are currently suffering from any stomach, liver or kidney disease.
Serious side effects are unlikely to occur after using this medication. But, you may get diarrhea if this medication is used for long time.
