Smuth Capsule is a combination medicine used in the treatment of constipation. This medicine absorbs water, hence makes the stool soft and easier to pass. It also helps in easy passage of gas.
Smuth Capsule is taken in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. How Smuth Capsule works
Smuth Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Docusate and Calcium Dobesilate. Docusate is a lubricant laxative which helps retain water and fat in the stools, making them soft, slippery and easier to pass. Calcium Dobesilate is a vasoprotective medicine which works on the walls of the small blood vessels and reduces their leakage and fragility. It also improves blood flow by decreasing viscosity/thickness of blood, thereby relieving inflammation (redness and swelling) in piles/ hemorrhoids and promoting healing.
