Spacold N 100mg/5mg/5mg Tablet is a medicine used to treat common cold symptoms. It provides relief from allergic symptoms like runny nose, sneezing, watery eyes, and nasal congestion. It also blocks the release of certain chemicals that cause pain and inflammation and relieves aches and fever associated with cold.
Spacold N 100mg/5mg/5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food. Take it regularly and at the same time each day to get maximum benefits from it. Do not take this medicine more than the recommended dose, a high dose, or overdose may have harmful effects on the body. Prolong use of this medicine may harm your health, do not take it more than the prescribed duration unless your doctor advised you to do so.
It may cause side effects like headache, nausea, vomiting, dryness in the mouth, and diarrhea in some patients. Let your doctor know if any of these side effects bother you. Inform your doctor immediately if any rash or allergic reaction is observed while taking this medicine. Before taking it, tell your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking any other medicines.
Note: As per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Spacold N 100mg/5mg/5mg Tablet is banned for children under 12 years of age.
Spacold N 100mg/5mg/5mg Tablet helps relieve symptoms of the common cold, such as blocked nose, runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, and congestion or stuffiness. How to use Spacold N Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Spacold N 100mg/5mg/5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food.
How Spacold N Tablet works
Spacold N 100mg/5mg/5mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines :Nimesulide, Phenylephrine, and Levocetirizine. Nimesulide is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Phenylephrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Levocetirizine is an antihistamine medication. It treats allergy symptoms such as itching, swelling, and rashes by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger (histamine) in the body.

Driving
UNSAFE
Spacold N 100mg/5mg/5mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision, or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney
CAUTION
Spacold N 100mg/5mg/5mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.
Liver
UNSAFE
Spacold N 100mg/5mg/5mg Tablet is unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided.
What if you forget to take Spacold N Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Spacold N 100mg/5mg/5mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

OTC drugs, gargling with salt water and sucking on menthol sweets can help relieve a sore throat and blocked nose, are generally safe for older children and adults to take, but might not be suitable for babies, young children. Avoid applying Vicks VapoRub to babies and toddlers.You should never give children under 4 years of age over-the-counter cough and cold products without checking with your child's doctor. These medicines may harm young children.
