StayHappi Telmisartan+Rosuvastatin 40mg/10mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines used to treat high blood pressure associated with high cholesterol levels. Lowering the blood pressure helps in preventing future heart attack and stroke.
StayHappi Telmisartan+Rosuvastatin 40mg/10mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. You should take it regularly at evenly spaced intervals as per the schedule prescribed by your doctor. Taking it at the same time every day will help you remember to take it. The dose and duration of treatment will depend on what you are being treated for. Do not stop taking it until you have finished the complete course, even when you feel better. You can help this medicine work better by making a few changes to your lifestyle such as keeping active, stopping smoking, and eating a low salt and low-fat diet.
Nausea, stomach pain, constipation, headache, and muscle pain are some common side effects of this medicine. It may also cause sleepiness and dizziness, do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you. Talk to your doctor if any of the side effects bother you or do not go away. It is advised to avoid potassium rich food while taking this medicine. You may be asked for regular monitoring of blood pressure, blood sugar level, and electrolytes level while taking this medicine.

How StayHappi Tablet works
Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). It works by blocking the hormone angiotensin thereby relaxing blood vessels and lowering blood pressure. Rosuvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication (statin). It works by blocking an enzyme (HMG-CoA-reductase) that is required in the body to make cholesterol. It thus lowers "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises "good" cholesterol (HDL).

StayHappi Telmisartan+Rosuvastatin 40mg/10mg Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.

StayHappi Telmisartan+Rosuvastatin 40mg/10mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
StayHappi Telmisartan+Rosuvastatin 40mg/10mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
StayHappi Telmisartan+Rosuvastatin 40mg/10mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of StayHappi Telmisartan+Rosuvastatin 40mg/10mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of StayHappi Telmisartan+Rosuvastatin 40mg/10mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
StayHappi Telmisartan+Rosuvastatin 40mg/10mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of StayHappi Telmisartan+Rosuvastatin 40mg/10mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of StayHappi Telmisartan+Rosuvastatin 40mg/10mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
What if you forget to take StayHappi Tablet?
If you miss a dose of StayHappi Telmisartan+Rosuvastatin 40mg/10mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
