Tacroeye 0.1% Eye Ointment is a medicine used to treat allergic eye disease. It works by suppressing the immune response in the eye. Inhibiting specific immune cells activity reduces inflammation and symptoms such as itching, redness, and irritation.

Tacroeye 0.1% Eye Ointment decreases the production of inflammatory chemicals by certain immune cells (T lymphocytes) and relieves redness and swelling. Never use Tacroeye 0.1% Eye Ointment if the seal is broken before you use it for the first time. Wash your hands before using it. Follow the instructions given by your doctor and use it in the dose and duration suggested by the doctor. Make sure you remove contact lenses if you wear them and wait for at least 15 minutes before putting them back. You must inform your doctor if there’s no improvement even after two weeks of treatment or if it gets worse.

The most common side effects of Tacroeye 0.1% Eye Ointment include eye irritation and burning sensation. Let your doctor know if you experience any other symptoms which do not go away or get worse.
