Tegura 100mg/224mg Tablet is a prescription medicine which is a combination of two anticancer medicines that is used in the treatment of cancer of the colon and rectum. It prevents the growth and multiplication of cancer cells, thus helps in destroying the tumor.
Tegura 100mg/224mg Tablet may be taken with or without food. It should be used in the dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. It is advised to take this medicine at a fixed time.
This medicine should not be taken more than the recommended dose. If you miss any dose, please consult your doctor. It is advised to complete the treatment without any interruption. This medicine is usually well tolerated by patients.
The common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, hair loss, low number of blood cells (anemia) and a decrease in white blood cell count. The doctor may ask you to undergo a few blood tests before or during the treatment.

Tegura 100mg/224mg Tablet treats cancer of the colon and rectum as well as lowers the risk of developing further cancerous growths. Using this medicine helps you recover more comfortably from chemotherapy. It is usually taken for 28 days (four weeks), followed by a seven day break. The cycle is then repeated. Follow your doctor's advice strictly during the entire treatment. Avoid drinking alcohol or smoking while having this treatment and drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.

What if you forget to take Tegura Tablet?
