Tolar-LX Eye Drops is to be used only in the affected eye in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Wash your hands before using this medicine. It is advised to check the label for directions before use. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
Use of this medicine may cause burning sensation, stinging, and irritation at the application site. These are usually temporary and resolve with time. How to use Tolar-LX Ophthalmic Solution

How Tolar-LX Ophthalmic Solution works
Tolar-LX Eye Drops is a combination of two medicines: Ketorolac and Dexamethasone. Ketorolac a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) and Dexamethasone is a steroid medicine. They work together by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling) in the eye.

What if you forget to take Tolar-LX Ophthalmic Solution?
If you miss a dose of Tolar-LX Eye Drops, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

Tolar-LX Eye Drops is prescribed for the treatment of allergic conjunctivitis and eye pain after any eye surgery.
Tolar-LX Eye Drops should usually be used twice a day (in the morning and the evening). If your symptoms are particularly severe, your doctor may suggest you use them up to four times a day.
Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute, immediately after putting the medication. This will prevent the medication from draining out. Try not to blink or rub your eye.
Do not wear contact lenses until your infection clears up or your eyes heal completely after surgery.
Your eyes can become more sensitive to sunlight than usual post eye infections or surgery. Wearing sunglasses may help to prevent this.
Along with using Tolar-LX Eye Drops, give a warm compress to your eyes to get relief from itching and burning sensation.
