Wellnok N 2mg/0.5mg Tablet is a combination medicine used for the treatment of opioid dependence or addiction to opioids. It helps prevent withdrawal symptoms that may be caused due to the withdrawal of other opioids. It is only prescribed to individuals who are at least 16 years of age or above.
Wellnok N 2mg/0.5mg Tablet may be habit-forming and should be taken only as directed by your doctor. The medicine may be a part of your treatment which could include receiving social and psychological support. It may be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day. Take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor and if you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember it. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It is important that this medication is not stopped suddenly without talking to your doctor as it may worsen your symptoms.
Some of the common side effects of this medicine include headache, sweating, drug withdrawal syndrome, nausea, vomiting, and constipation. It may also cause numbness in mouth, tongue pain, back pain, lightheadedness, irregular heartbeat, blurred vision, sleep disturbance, difficulty in paying attention and fainting. How Wellnok N Tablet works

It prevents withdrawal symptoms in patients who stop taking opioid drugs by producing similar effects to these drugs. Naloxone is an opioid antagonist which blocks the opioid receptors to prevent withdrawal side effects.

What if you forget to take Wellnok N Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Wellnok N 2mg/0.5mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
