Xceft AX 200mg/60mg Tablet is a prescription medicine. It is advised to take it as per the prescription. It can be taken with or without food, but it must be taken at a fixed time to ensure better efficacy. Do not consume more than the recommended dose, as this may have harmful effects on your body. How Xceft AX Tablet works
Xceft AX 200mg/60mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Cefixime, Ambroxol and Lactobacillus. Cefixime is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming their own protective covering which is required for their survival in the human body. Ambroxol is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Lactobacillus is a live microorganism which restores the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset with antibiotic use or due to intestinal infections.
