How Xiclone Eye Capsule works
Xiclone 0.1% Eye Capsule is an immunosuppressant which increases tear production in chronic dry eye disease. It works by decreasing inflammation (swelling) in the eye to allow for tear production. This keeps the eyes lubricated and reduces discomfort.

Quick tips
- Your doctor has prescribed Xiclone 0.1% Eye Capsule to relieve inflammation (redness and swelling) in dry eye disease.
- Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute, immediately after instilling the drop so that the medicine does not drain away from the eye.
- When applying multiple eye medications, wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.
- Take care to prevent contact of eye dispenser with eye, eyelid, eyelashes, or finger to avoid infection.
- You may experience a stinging sensation for 1-2 mins after instilling Xiclone 0.1% Eye Capsule. Notify your doctor if it persists for longer.
- Make sure to use within 4 weeks of opening the bottle.
