Zycolchin Tablet is a medicine used in the treatment and prevention of gout. It reduces inflammation which causes pain, swelling, and other symptoms of gout.

Zycolchin Tablet can be taken with or without food. You should take it regularly and at the same time each day to get the maximum benefit from it. Keep taking it as recommended by your doctor and complete the dose even if you feel better. If you stop, your symptoms may get worse.

Some common side effects of this medicine are nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Talk to your doctor if any of these side effects do not go away with time. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent these symptoms.

This medicine is very effective in people who cannot take other anti-inflammatory painkillers and also for those who are taking other medicines for treatment and prevention of gout.
Take Zycolchin Tablet as prescribed and avoid skipping doses. Make appropriate lifestyle changes like losing weight (if you are overweight), eating a healthy diet and avoiding alcohol or sugar-sweetened drinks to get maximum benefit.

It is not known whether Zycolchin Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Kidney
CAUTION
Zycolchin Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Zycolchin Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Zycolchin Tablet should preferably be avoided if you have serious kidney disease.
Liver
CAUTION
Zycolchin Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Zycolchin Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
However, close monitoring is recommended for patients with mild to moderate liver disease also but dose adjustment is not necessary.

What if you forget to take Zycolchin Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Zycolchin Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
