Aspirin + Atenolol + Losartan + Atorvastatin is a combination of four medicines: Aspirin , Atenolol , Losartan an Atorvastatin. Aspirin is an antiplatelet medication. It works by preventing the platelets from sticking together. This decreases the formation of harmful blood clots. Atenolol is a beta blocker that works specifically on the heart to slow down the heart rate while Losartan is a calcium channel blocker which works by blocking the hormone angiotensin to relax blood vessels. Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication. It lowers "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises the "good" cholesterol (HDL).
