Betamethasone + Gentamicin + Clotrimazole + Benzyl Alcohol is a combination of three medicines: Betamethasone , Gentamicin , Clotrimazole , and Benzyl Alcohol which treat skin infections. Betamethasone is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Gentamicin is an antibiotic which kills bacteria by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Clotrimazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering.
