Secukinumab is a monoclonal antibodies. It shows its action by neutralizing the activity of a protein called IL-17A, which is responsible for the symptoms of psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.
Common side effects of Secukinumab
Common cold, Diarrhea, Upper respiratory tract infection
Secukinumab may lower the ability of the immune system to fight infections. Inform your doctor if you develop any symptoms of infection.
Before starting treatment with this medicine, inform your doctor if you have tuberculosis or have been in close contact with someone with tuberculosis.
Inform your doctor if you experience symptoms of allergic reactions like rash, swelling, etc.
Stick to simple meals, avoid rich or spicy food, and drink plenty of water while taking this medicine.
