- Trifarotene is applied on the skin to treat acne.
- Avoid using Trifarotene on skin areas with cuts, abrasions, eczema, or on sunburned skin.
- Apply a thin layer of Trifarotene over the affected areas one time each day, in the evening or as recommended by your doctor.
- Minimize exposure to sunlight.
- Avoid the use of “waxing” as a hair removal method on skin treated with Trifarotene.
- Breastfeeding women should not apply Trifarotene to the nipple and areola to avoid contact with your baby.
