Understanding 3D-CT Scan Left Shoulder Joint
What is 3D-CT Scan Left Shoulder Joint?
A 3D scan of the left shoulder joint is a CT or computed tomography scan that gives you cross-sectional images of your shoulder using X-ray cameras. It helps to check and detect any injuries or abnormalities in the soft tissues and bones of the left shoulder joint. It also helps to identify blood clots and tumors. This scan can be done with or without contrast dye. Some of the other common symptoms for this test include - identifying clots, inflammation, and any pre-surgery plans.
Using the scan, your doctor can assess the fracture clearly. This is a very simple test, and you don’t need much preparation before the test. Generally, a scan takes approximately around 30 - 45 minutes
