NCCT Scan Brain Perfusion is a specialized radiographic technique used to evaluate the blood supply to the brain during a stroke or ischemic brain conditions. It is a non-invasive, painless, advanced radiographic technique performed across a range of 4 cm to 8 cm of the brain area.
It is specifically advised to patients who have recently suffered a stroke or those who have reduced blood supply to the brain due to vascular disease or tumors of the brain. It provides detailed information to plan treatment or evaluate specific symptoms or conditions. Pregnant women should avoid CT scans as exposure to strong radiation may affect the health of a mother baby.
