Understanding MRI HIP JOINT
What is MRI HIP JOINT?
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) of the hip joint is a test which is non-invasive. It scans the images of hip joint, the surrounding bones and soft tissues of the hip joint. It uses strong magnetic and radio waves to create images of the hip joint in detail. Multiple images are captured during the MRI scan which can be stored on an electronic device and then further printed on a film. The complete procedure takes about 40-60 minutes.
