X - Ray Both Calcaneum LAT (Lateral) View is used to visualise calcaneus (bone of the heel) and the soft tissues (skin and muscles). This view is able to assess for bony lesions and also helps in determining the extent and alignment of fractures
This test is prescribed by the doctor to diagnose any broken/fractured calcaneus (heel bone) and to monitor the healing of the broken bone, after it has been set.
