What is X - Ray Left Foot AP View?
X-Ray Left Foot AP View is an imaging test that helps detect any potential dislocations, fractures, bone lesions or degenerative diseases of the left foot. An x-ray is a type of high-energy electromagnetic radiation that gives images of the joint. It helps detect any abnormality with the foot and ankle.
X-rays are considered mostly safe but can be dangerous in some cases. Exposure to the radiation can pose a minor risk to the patient. Pregnant women are not allowed to get an x-ray done as there is a small chance that the radiation may harm the baby in the womb. The x-ray is conducted on the patient while the patient is sitting with their leg stretched out.
