Understanding X - Ray Right Foot LAT View in Howrah
What is X - Ray Right Foot LAT View in Howrah?
An X-Ray Right Foot LAT View is a safe and painless test that uses a small amount of radiation to visualise the bones of the foot, including the ankle bones (tarsal bones), the front end of the feet (metatarsal bones), and toes (phalanges), also the soft tissues (skin and muscles) surrounding them.
The test identifies broken/fractured bones in the foot. It monitors their healing after being set and diagnoses any suspected infection, osteoporosis, deformities or aberrant bone development, and arthritis.
The actual radiation exposure period is often less than a second, while the entire test may take between 15-20 minutes. Bones are visible on X-ray images. However, it doesn't show the tendons, muscles, or fat tissue beneath the skin's surface very well.
