Generally applied to a wound to promote healing and helps protect the wound from any further harm.
Product Specifications and Features:
- Sterile dressing with breathable soft cloth backing
- Central absorbent pad which absorbs wound drainage and protects peri-wound skin
- Soft, stretchable backing which easily conforms to body contours
- Has rounded corners to reduce edge roll and wrinkling
- Hypoallergenic adhesive which reduces risk of skin trauma
- Excellent absorption capacity for low to moderate exudations
Directions For Use:
- Clean and dry the wound and the skin surrounding it
- Hold the bandage on either side of the dressing pad
- Lay the pad directly on to the wound and wind the short end once around the limb and the pad
- Wind the other end around the limb to cover the whole pad
- Tie the ends together over the pad to secure it and put slight pressure on the wound
