Agarwals HSG Cannula With Lock this is used for the delivery of contract media or saline into the uterine cavity during hysterosalpingography (HSG) or sonohysterography (SHG) for examination of the uterus and fallopian tubes.

Uses:
The cannula is designed for patients with a stenotic external os and a narrow cervical canal.

Product Specifications and Features:

• This device is required for a hysterosalpingogram (HSG) including an open-sided speculum, tenaculum, sponge stick, antiseptic, contrast medium, and an acorn (Cohen) cannula (A) or a balloon-tip catheter (B). The cervix is prepared with an antiseptic and grasped with a single-toothed tenaculum

• Light vaginal bleeding or spotting for 1 - 2 days after the HSG is common

• Heavy bleeding, fever, abnormal vaginal bleeding or abdominal pain lasting beyond the HSG could be signs of more serious complications and should be reported to the office quickly
