Uses:
- It is indicated for minor burns and scalds, lacerations, abrasions, donor and recipient graft sites, and leg ulcers
- May act as a mechanical barrier to reduce the adherence of the absorbent dressing to the surface of a granulating wound
Product Specifications and Features:
- It contains Tulle Gauze impregnated with paraffin jelly having Chlorhexidine Acetate 0.5% w/w
- Gamma sterilised and ready for immediate use
- Non-adherent dressing, making it easy to apply and remove
- Ideal for a wide range of superficial wounds. Provides a barrier against bacterial contamination
Directions for Use:
- Peel open the pouch and lift the dressing with sterile forceps
- Apply on a cleaned wound and cover with an absorbent pad
- Secure the pad with tape or a bandage as appropriate
- The dressing should be changed after 12 to 48 hours, or as per the condition of the wound
