• It is indicated for stuffy nose, and uncontrollable nasal discharge, heaviness of the head, sinusitis, allergies, and nasal congestion.

Dosage:

• Nasya should be done on an empty stomach in the morning after brushing and evacuating your bowels, 30 minutes before bath.

• Massage your face and neck with a few drops of sesame oil, avoiding the eyes.

• Place a towel over a medium-hot pan till it is slightly warm. Check the temperature and apply it over the face and neck.

• Lie on your bed, extend your hands and legs, and keep a pillow under your head. Ensure there is not too much sunlight or wind entering the room.

• Place a container nearby to spit out excess mucus. Place Anu Thailam in a warm bowl of water.

• After a few minutes, take out the thailam and check that it is sufficiently hot.

• Instil 1-2 drops of these Ayurvedic nasal drops in each nostril, and continue lying down, face up.

• When the medicine reaches your throat, spit out the excess mucus.

• Do not do Nasya when you have a high body temperature or a cold.
