Mepilex Border Dressing is a five-layer all-in-one bordered foam dressing that is designed for a wide range of wounds such as pressure ulcers, leg and foot ulcers, and traumatic wounds.

Uses:
The dressing patch helps keep the wounds protected against infection and further damage.

• The design includes a Safetec interface, which seals the wound edges
  It aids in preventing the exudate from leaking onto the surrounding skin, thus minimising the risk for maceration
  Safetac interface also minimises damaging the wound or surrounding skin or exposing the individual to additional pain at dressing changes
  The Mepilex border can handle more exudate because of its unique material construction
  The absorbent foam pad absorbs exudate and prevents it from returning to the wound, protecting the peri-wound skin
  The nonwoven spreading layer spreads exudate over a wide surface area within the retention layer
  As the exudate reaches the retention layer with superabsorbents its being effectively managed and retained, which reduces the risk of leakage and maceration
  The highly breathable yet showerproof backing film enables longer wear as well as protects the wound by stopping bacteria and viruses
