Directions For Use:
- Boil 1 cup water and add 1 tsp tea leaves (chai ki patti)
- Once it boils, reduce heat and let it simmer for 5 minutes
- Add ¼ cup milk and 1-2 tsp Naario Jaggery powder. Increase the heat and let it boil once again
- Let it simmer for another 2 minutes before you give it one final boil
- Finally, strain the tea into a cup and enjoy your healthy masala chai
- Quick hack: Alternatively, add Naario jaggery powder directly to the strainer and strain a separate cup for yourself if you want to pour for no-sugar patients first
- You can use one-fourth tsp for diabetics- just for the masala flavour and a whole tsp for the lovers of masala chai
- This also makes a great health drink if boiled with milk and turmeric
