Nasivion Baby 0.01% Nasal Drop

Nasivion Baby 0.01% Nasal Drop is a nasal decongestant in an easy drop form. It unblocks the nose to help your baby play and learn in a more enjoyable way. Its active ingredient Oxymetazoline is well tolerable on the nose1 and provides up to 12 hours for easier breathing. It helps in providing effective relief from a blocked nose. It is a fast-acting formula that unblocks the nose in 25 seconds. It helps in reducing excess nasal secretions and relieves the swollen blood vessels.

Key Ingredients:

• 0.1 mg oxymetazoline hydrochloride USP (active ingredient) in buffered aqueous solution

• 0.2 mg Benzalkonium Chloride Solution 50% IP (as preservative)

Directions For Use:

• Clean the baby’s nose

• In lying down posture, the baby’s head can be tilted backwards or comfortably arched over the edge of the bed

• Squeeze the dropper to apply the correct number of drops into the nose

• With the dropper inverted over the affected nostril, instil drops of the solution as per the suggested use

• Intranasal administration for infants below one year. Up to the age of 4 weeks, instil 1 drop of the solution into each nostril 2-3 times per day

• From the 5th week of life until the age of 1 year, instil 1-2 drops into each nostril 2-3 times per day or as directed by the physician

• Oxymetazoline hydrochloride-containing nasal drops should not be used for longer than 10 consecutive days

• A treatment-free period of several days should precede any repeated use

• Medical supervision is indicated in pre-mature or underweight newborns to avoid the risk of over-dosage
