Budanef 9 Tablet CR belongs to a group of medicines called steroids. It is used to treat moderate to severe ulcerative colitis. It helps relieve pain and inflammation caused by the condition.
Budanef 9 Tablet CR can be taken with or without food. To get maximum benefit of the medicine, take it regularly and at the fixed time of each day. Do not discontinue taking the medication without talking to your doctor as it may worsen your symptoms.
Budanef 9 Tablet CR may cause few common side effects such as mood changes or stomach upset. Taking Budanef 9 Tablet CR can also make it harder for you to fight off infections. Tell your doctor if you have any signs of infection such as fever or sore throat.

What if you forget to take Budanef Tablet CR?
If you miss a dose of Budanef 9 Tablet CR, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Taking Budanef with any of the following medicines can modify the effect of either of them and cause some undesirable side effects
Do not consume Budesonide with Posaconazole. If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms such as moon-face, flushing, increased bruising or acne and consult your doctor
It is recommended to wait at least 3 months after discontinuing a high dose of Budesonide before taking Purified Vi Polysaccharide Typhoid Vaccine.
