Buditas OD Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called steroids. It is used to treat moderate to severe ulcerative colitis. It helps relieve pain and inflammation caused by the condition.
Buditas OD Tablet can be taken with or without food. To get the maximum benefit of the medicine, take it regularly and at a fixed time each day. Do not discontinue taking the medication without talking to your doctor, as it may worsen your symptoms.
Buditas OD Tablet may cause some common side effects, such as mood changes or stomach upset. Taking Buditas OD Tablet can also make it harder for you to fight infections. Tell your doctor if you have any signs of infection, such as fever or sore throat.

Liver

Buditas OD Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Buditas OD Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Buditas OD Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease as the data available in these patients is very limited.

What if you forget to take Buditas Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Buditas OD Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Taking Buditas with any of the following medicines can modify the effect of either of them and cause some undesirable side effects
Do not consume Budesonide with Posaconazole. If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms such as moon-face, flushing, increased bruising or acne and consult your doctor
It is recommended to wait at least 3 months after discontinuing a high dose of Budesonide before taking Purified Vi Polysaccharide Typhoid Vaccine.
