Colchigo 0.5mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. You should take it regularly and at the same time each day to get the maximum benefit from it. Keep taking it as recommended by your doctor and complete the dose even if you feel better. If you stop, your symptoms may get worse.

Liver
CAUTION
Colchigo 0.5mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Colchigo 0.5mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. However, close monitoring is recommended for patients with mild to moderate liver disease also but dose adjustment is not necessary.
What if you forget to take Colchigo Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Colchigo 0.5mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Hi For the exact treatment of gout you should consult a rheumatologist with all your reports. Precautions which you can follow are 1. eat low fat diet 2. Don't have foods with high purine content like shellfish, redmeat etc. 3. Slowly loose weight 4. Restrict your intake of alcohol 5. drink lots of water 6. Increase your intake of dairy products
