Your child’s medicine at a glance
In babies, Easyfour-TT Paediatric Vaccine is injected into the thigh muscles. Whereas, in older children, the injection is given into the arm muscle. This injection is to be administered by your child’s doctor only. The first 3 doses of Easyfour-TT Paediatric Vaccine are to be given 4 weeks apart at 6, 10, and 14 weeks of age followed by booster doses given when your child turns 15-18 years. Your child’s doctor might prefer rescheduling the vaccine if your child has a more serious illness.
Easyfour-TT Paediatric Vaccine can cause some minor and temporary side effects such as fever, mild crankiness, loss of appetite, tenderness, soreness, redness, and swelling at the injection site. However, these episodes are momentary and subside on their own. If worrisome, do seek the doctor's help.
Talk to your child’s doctor before vaccination if your child has a history of liver problems, kidney problems, blood disorders, birth defects, heart problems, lung problems, severe allergic reactions to any medicine, severe pain or swelling of the limbs, or Guillain-Barré syndrome. You should also consult your doctor before vaccination if your child has ever been in a coma or has had brain or nervous system problems like seizures. This information is important for planning your child’s vaccination schedule.

Benefits of Easyfour-TT Paediatric Vaccine for your child
Tetanus, commonly called lockjaw, is a serious bacterial infection that affects the nervous system and causes muscles throughout the body to become stiff and tighten. Vaccination is the best way to protect your child against this life-threatening disease.

The infection causes uncontrollable coughing that can make it difficult to breathe. Easyfour-TT Paediatric Vaccine offers the best protection against Pertussis. It is advisable to consult your doctor for complete information regarding vaccination schedules.

After vaccination, most children achieve diphtheria antitoxin titers greater than the minimally protective levels.

How can I give Easyfour-TT Paediatric Vaccine to my child?
How Easyfour-TT Injection works
Quick tips
- Maintain a log of your child’s vaccination history. Be sure to ask for a personal record card or a printed copy of your child’s vaccinations. Whenever your child receives a vaccine, make sure your copy gets updated.
- Babies are born with natural immunity against some diseases, which they get from their mothers and by breastfeeding. But as they grow, this immunity gradually decreases. Easyfour-TT Paediatric Vaccine further enhances their immunity and protects them against vaccine-preventable diseases.
- Vaccines ensure the best protection when given at the right time. India’s National Immunization Schedule has been designed to protect children from birth, and at the ages when they are vulnerable to specific vaccine-preventable diseases.
- The duration of immunity varies with different diseases and different vaccines. Usually, the protection provided by vaccines decreases gradually over time. Neither natural infection nor vaccination may be able to provide lifelong immunity. Therefore, booster doses are sometimes recommended for certain vaccines, at specific ages.
