Common side effects of Evolon Cream include fluid retention, nausea, breast discomfort, and pain (mastalgia), postmenopausal spotting (vaginal bleeding), cervical discharge (vaginal discharge), and vaginal irritation. Not everyone should experience the same side effects; they can differ. Consult your doctor if you experience any severe side effects or if they worsen. Before using this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you have unexplained vaginal bleeding or if you have ever had a blood clot in your legs or your lungs. Once you have started using this medicine, you should have regular checkups to discuss the benefits of your treatment. It should not interact with any other medicines. Uses of Evolon Vaginal Cream

  • Menopausal symptoms

Benefits of Evolon Vaginal Cream

Menopausal symptoms
Evolon Cream is a female hormone, identical to a hormone that your body makes naturally called estrogen. When you have too little of this hormone (after menopause), the vaginal wall can become thin and dry. This can make sexual intercourse painful and you may get vaginal infections. Estriol will help relieve vaginal dryness, inflammation, and itching that may occur after menopause. It may take a few weeks before you notice an improvement so keep using the medicine even if you think it is not working to get the full benefits. It has very few side effects and will also make you less likely to have vaginal or urinary infections.

Side effects of Evolon Vaginal Cream

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

How to use Evolon Vaginal Cream

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream by using applicator. Wash your hands after applying.

How Evolon Vaginal Cream works

Evolon Cream contains estriol (a type of estrogen—female sex hormone). It works by delivering estriol (estrogens) directly into the vagina to relieve vaginal symptoms of menopause such as dryness, burning, irritation, and painful sexual intercourse. Additionally, it helps restore the normal vaginal pH and microflora, improving the health of the urogenital epithelium and reducing the risk of infections.

  • Do not have sex right after using Evolon Cream, as some of the medicine can be absorbed into your partner's skin.
  • Inform your doctor if you experience any vaginal bleeding or spotting, abnormal vaginal discharge, or vaginal discomfort while using this medicine.
