Gigastag-DM Tablet is used to treat vertigo. It is a combination medicine which acts by relaxing vascular smooth muscles of the blood vessels of the ear and improves the blood circulation. It also blocks the action of a chemical messenger that is responsible for lightheadedness in vertigo.
Gigastag-DM Tablet should be taken with food to avoid stomach upset. Take this medicine as advised by your doctor and preferably at a fixed time each day. Do not skip any doses, but if you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. Finish the full course of treatment and never stop this medicine suddenly without talking to your doctor.
Some common side effects of using this medication are dryness of mouth and stomach pain. To overcome dryness, it is advised to drink more water, always carry sugar candy or maintain oral hygiene. How Gigastag-DM Tablet works
Gigastag-DM Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Cinnarizine and Dimenhydrinate. Dimenhydrinate is an antiallergic. It blocks the action of a chemical messenger (histamine) that is responsible for light-headedness in vertigo.

Yes, Gigastag-DM Tablet can make you feel drowsy. Avoid driving, operating machinery, working at heights or participating in potentially dangerous activities until you know how this medicine affects you.
Can Gigastag-DM Tablet cause indigestion?
Gigastag-DM Tablet may cause indigestion. However, taking it with or after food can prevent indigestion. Talk to your doctor if indigestion persists.

Visit the nearest emergency department if you accidentally take too much of this medicine. Symptoms of an overdose may include tiredness, pupil dilation, unable to urinate, dry mouth, flushing, fast heart rate, sweating, headache, dizziness and shakiness.
What if I miss a dose of Gigastag-DM Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Gigastag-DM Tablet, you should skip the missed dose and take the next dose at its usual time and quantity. You should not take a double dose of Gigastag-DM Tablet to make up for a missed dose.
Can I stop taking Gigastag-DM Tablet if I feel well?
You should not stop taking Gigastag-DM Tablet until your doctor asks you to. If you stop taking Gigastag-DM Tablet earlier than advised, the symptoms of vertigo may reappear (dizziness and spinning).
