Lipikind-D3 10mg/1000mg Tablet is a medicine used to treat high cholesterol. It is a combination of two medicines that reduces "bad" cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides (fats) levels in the body. It may also reduce the risk of future heart attack and stroke.
Lipikind-D3 10mg/1000mg Tablet should be taken with food to avoid stomach upset. You should take it regularly at evenly spaced intervals as per the schedule prescribed by your doctor. Taking it at the same time every day will help you remember to take it. The dose and duration of treatment will depend on what you are being treated for. Do not stop taking it until you have finished the complete course, even when you feel better. Lifestyle changes like low-fat diet, exercise and not smoking may help this medicine to work better.
Nausea, stomach pain, constipation, and muscle weakness are some common side effects of this medicine. How Lipikind-D3 Tablet works
Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication (statin). It works by blocking an enzyme (HMG-CoA-reductase) that is required in the body to make cholesterol. It thus lowers "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises "good" cholesterol (HDL). Vitamin D3 is added to relieve the muscular pain caused by Atorvastatin.

Lipikind-D3 10mg/1000mg Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.

Lipikind-D3 10mg/1000mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Lipikind-D3 10mg/1000mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Lipikind-D3 10mg/1000mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Lipikind-D3 10mg/1000mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

What if you forget to take Lipikind-D3 Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Lipikind-D3 10mg/1000mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
