Merosya 7 Tablet is a medicine used in the treatment of relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS). It works by limiting the function of specific immune cells that cause nerve damage in multiple sclerosis. This way it prevents relapse as well as reduces the progression of the disease.
Merosya 7 Tablet may be taken with or without food. Take it regularly and at the same time each day to get maximum benefits from it. Do not stop taking until you have completed the course. Regular blood and urine tests to monitor your blood cells, kidney and liver function may be required during treatment with this medicine.
Common side effects of this medicine include increased liver enzyme, hair loss, diarrhea, influenza, and nausea. If any of these side effects bother you, let your doctor know. They may be able to help ways to treat or manage the side effects.
This medicine should not be taken by pregnant women. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. Let your doctor also know if you have any other medical conditions. Additionally, tell your doctor about all the other medicines you are taking to make sure it is safe for you.

How to use Merosya Tablet

Driving

Merosya 7 Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney
CAUTION
Merosya 7 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Merosya 7 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
UNSAFE
Merosya 7 Tablet is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.
What if you forget to take Merosya Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Merosya 7 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
