Miofree ET 60mg/8mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines used in the treatment of pain due to muscle spasms. It improves the movement of muscles and provides relief from pain and discomfort associated with muscle spasms.

Miofree ET 60mg/8mg Tablet may be taken with or without food. Take it in the dose and duration as precribed by the doctor. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor.

Common side effects of this medicine include abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, and drowsiness. If any of these side effects persit or bother you, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent these side effects.

Also, it effectively relieves muscle stiffness or spasm, thereby improving muscle movement. It works by blocking chemical messengers in the brain that tell us we have pain.
Take it as it is prescribed to get the most benefit. Do not take more or for longer than needed as that can be dangerous. This will help you to go about your daily activities more easily and have a better, more active, quality of life.

How Miofree ET Tablet works

Miofree ET 60mg/8mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Etoricoxib and Thiocolchicoside, which relieves pain and relaxes the muscles. Etoricoxib is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles.

Use of Miofree ET 60mg/8mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.

What if you forget to take Miofree ET Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Miofree ET 60mg/8mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Can the use of Miofree ET 60mg/8mg Tablet cause damage to kidneys?

Yes, the long-term use of Miofree ET 60mg/8mg Tablet can cause damage to the kidneys. Normal kidneys produce a chemical called prostaglandins that protects them from damage. Use of painkillers lowers the levels of prostaglandins in the body leading to kidney damage on long-term use. Use of painkillers is not recommended to patients with underlying kidney disease.

No, taking more of this medicine will not make it more effective, rather it can lead to increased side effects. If the symptoms are getting severe, please consult the doctor for re-evaluation.
