Polynol 30mg Injection is a prescription medicine used in the treatment of varicose veins. It is a sclerosing agent that damages the layer of blood vessels, leading to platelet aggregation. This will lead to an occluded vessel and then it is finally replaced with connective tissue.

Polynol 30mg Injection is given by your doctor or nurse. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Quick tips

Polynol 30mg Injection is used for the treatment of varicose veins.
Wear a compression bandage or stocking soon after the injection, continuously for 2 to 3 days and for 2 to 3 weeks during the daytime, to prevent clot formation.
Compression stockings should be thigh or knee-high depending upon
the area treated in order to provide adequate coverage.
Walk for at least 10 minutes post-therapy along with wearing the compression bandage with the help of a caregiver.
Avoid heavy or strenuous exercise for 2-3 days post-therapy. Long-distance travel while sitting should also be avoided (in a car or airplane).
Avoid exposure to sunlight, hot baths, or sauna for 2-3 days post-treatment.
Take precautions as advised by your doctor before application of ice or heating pads on the treated leg.

I have been suffering from varicose veins since last 20 years. I am using stockings, ointment massage treatment for pain relief. Also putting pillow below my feet, while I sleep. But not getting permanent relief from the disease. I suffer from severe pains, if I walk for 10 to 15 minutes. One of local doctor has advised me to do laser operation for permanent relief. Some doctors opine that laser treatment is also not a permanent relief. After some period, the trouble restarts again. Kindly advise over the permanent relief on varicose veins.
