General Information

Product introduction
Take Prazole DM Capsule exactly as directed by your doctor, usually once daily before a meal. Swallow it whole; do not chew or crush it. To get the most benefit, take it regularly at the same time each day. Continue the full course even if you feel better, as stopping too soon may cause symptoms to return. Along with treatment, avoid irritants such as alcohol, tobacco, and spicy or acidic foods. Eat smaller, more frequent meals and do not lie down immediately after eating.
The most common side effects include headache, stomach pain, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, and gas. These are generally mild and often go away as your body adjusts to the medicine. If diarrhea is severe, persistent, or watery, inform your doctor. Staying hydrated and maintaining a balanced diet can help reduce discomfort.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have liver disease or any kidney problems. Long-term or high-dose use may increase the risk of bone fractures, low vitamin B12 or magnesium levels, or fundic gland polyps in the stomach. Therefore, the medicine should be used at the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible time. Seek immediate help if you notice signs of severe allergic reaction, such as swelling, breathing difficulty, or rash with blisters. Do not take Prazole DM Capsule if you are allergic to omeprazole or any ingredients in the medicine. Inform your doctor about all other medicines you take, as Prazole DM Capsule can affect how other medicines work.
Uses of Prazole DM Capsule

- Treatment of Gastroesophageal reflux disease (Acid reflux)
- Treatment of Peptic ulcer disease
- Management of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome
Benefits of Prazole DM Capsule
In gastric ulcers, Prazole DM Capsule lowers acid levels in the stomach, protecting the stomach wall from further damage and giving it time to recover. Regular use as prescribed can help relieve symptoms such as burning pain and discomfort, and promote complete ulcer healing.
Prazole DM Capsule provides relief from the burning sensation of acid reflux and heartburn caused by gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). It reduces acid production, preventing stomach acid from flowing back into the food pipe, and helps heal irritation or inflammation of the esophagus, improving comfort and digestion.
Prazole DM Capsule helps relieve pain and promotes healing in peptic ulcers (duodenal ulcers) by reducing excess stomach acid that irritates the ulcer lining. It blocks acid production and allows the damaged tissue in the stomach and upper intestine to heal properly. It also helps prevent the ulcer from coming back.
For people with Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, where the stomach produces too much acid, Prazole DM Capsule helps control acid secretion and prevents complications such as ulcers. It provides long-term management of acid levels, improving quality of life and preventing damage to the stomach and intestines.
