Ripatec T Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines used in the treatment of glaucoma and ocular hypertension. It decreases the fluid (aqueous humor) production in the eye which relieves the pressure in the eye. This way the symptoms are relieved.
Ripatec T Eye Drop is to be used only in the affected eye. Read the label carefully for instructions before you use the medicine. Wash your hands before using this medicine. Also, do not use too much or too little. Use it in the exact dose as prescribed by the doctor or as instructed on the label.
This medicine is generally safe and has no side effects. However, it may cause a burning sensation, stinging, and irritation at the site of application. These effects are usually temporary and resolve with time. However, if they persist or get worse, inform your doctor. In case of its accidental contact with your ears, nose, or mouth, immediately rinse the area with water.

Q. What is the right way to use Ripatec T Eye Drop?
Always wash your hands before (and after) using Ripatec T Eye Drop. This prevents you from passing the infection from one eye to the other. Remove the cap just before using your medicine and replace it as soon as you have finished. Avoid touching the nozzle of the bottle with your fingers. Tilt your head back and gently pull down your lower eyelid with a clean finger. Hold the bottle over the eye and allow a single drop to fall into the space between your lower lid and your eye. Close your eye and gently press your finger over the inside corner of the eye (over the eyelid) for about a minute. This helps prevent the drop from draining out of the eye. Repeat in your other eye if your doctor has told you to do this.
Q. How many times should I use Ripatec T Eye Drop in a day?
Ideally, you should use one drop in each eye, two times a day or as prescribed by your doctor.
Q. Does Ripatec T Eye Drop cause blurred vision?
When you instil the eye drops for the first time, it can make your eyes watery and may sometimes also cause blurred vision. If this happens, it will clear quickly. Make sure you can see clearly again before you drive, or use tools or machines.
