What if you forget to take Saaz Tablet?

What is Saaz-DS Tablet, and what is it used for?
Saaz-DS Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called anti-inflammatory agents. It is used to treat various inflammatory conditions such as Crohn’s disease, rheumatoid arthritis, ulcerative colitis, and psoriatic arthritis.
Is Saaz-DS Tablet a steroid or a painkiller?
Saaz-DS Tablet is neither a steroid nor a painkiller. It is an anti-inflammatory medicine. It is used to treat and manage ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease, in which the intestines become inflamed (swelling of intestines). It is also used to treat rheumatoid arthritis (painful joint disease).
I have been prescribed Saaz-DS Tablet for rheumatoid arthritis. When can I expect the pain in my joints to be better?
Saaz-DS Tablet does not work right away. It takes about 6 to 12 weeks to deliver the full effect. You may start feeling better in 4 weeks after starting Saaz-DS Tablet, but it can vary from person to person, and some of the patients may notice improvement after 3 months. Consumption of medicine should not be stopped without consulting your doctor.
For how long do I need to take Saaz-DS Tablet?
If you can tolerate Saaz-DS Tablet, which means the side effects do not bother you, then you have to continue Saaz-DS Tablet till the disease remains in remission. It is better to take Saaz-DS Tablet for the prescribed period.
Does the use of Saaz-DS Tablet for the treatment of arthritis affect kidney function?
Though it is uncommon, Saaz-DS Tablet may affect your kidney function. Therefore, your kidney function must remain normal before you start taking Saaz-DS Tablet. If your kidney functions become abnormal during the treatment, consult your doctor.
Do I need to get any blood tests done while on Saaz-DS Tablet therapy?
Your doctor will advise blood tests to check your blood cell counts and your kidney function before starting your treatment and regularly during treatment. The tests should also be done to measure substances produced by your liver, known as enzymes (liver function tests), and urine for protein and blood before you start treatment and at regular intervals.
Can Saaz-DS Tablet affect my fertility?
Decreased sperm count and infertility have been reported in some males. These may disappear once the Saaz-DS Tablet is discontinued.
Can I take azathioprine along with Saaz-DS Tablet?
You should avoid using Saaz-DS Tablet with azathioprine since there are chances of a decrease in blood cell count, which can be a serious side effect.
