Some common side effects of this medicine include nausea, dry cough, headache, weakness, decreased blood pressure, and increased potassium level in blood. It is advised to avoid potassium rich food and supplements while taking this medicine. It may cause dizziness, avoid driving or rise slowly from the sitting position. You may be asked for regular monitoring of blood pressure, blood sugar level, kidney functioning, urea, or electrolytes level during the treatment.

How Starpress R Tablet ER works
Starpress R XL 50 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Metoprolol and ramipril which lower blood pressure effectively. Metoprolol is a beta blocker which works by slowing down the heart rate and makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood around the body. Ramipril is an ACE inhibitor which reduces stress on the heart and relaxes blood vessel so that blood flows more smoothly.

What if you forget to take Starpress R Tablet ER?

Persistent high arterial blood pressure above 120/80 mm HG is termed as pre-hypertension or hypertension, but the point to be emphasized is that this rise in blood pressure is persistent. Transient increase in BP occurs in stress and anxiety and needs to be treated accordingly.
I have undergone CABG on Then my BP n blood sugar was OK. Subsequently BP had risen to 150/100. Cardiologist had prescribed Win BP CT 40/6.25, Starpress xl 50 n cildip10, startor10, Ceruvin75. Starpress has been discontinued n BP has become very normal. But getting stomach disorder like constipation, indigestion, improper urination. Pl advice whether to discontinue any of the above mentioned medicines n take enzymes
