Sugmadex 100mg Injection is indicated for the reversal of neuromuscular blockade induced by rocuronium bromide and vecuronium bromide in patients aged 2 years and older undergoing surgery.
Can Sugmadex 100mg Injection cause an allergic reaction?
Although rare, Sugmadex 100mg Injection can cause serious allergic reactions in some people. Symptoms can show up within 5 minutes of getting Sugmadex 100mg Injection, and can include redness and swelling of the eyes, and throat, skin redness, difficulty breathing. Other, less serious symptoms of an allergic reaction, can include nausea, itching, and rash.
Does Sugmadex 100mg Injection affect birth control?
Sugmadex 100mg Injection may reduce the contraceptive effect of birth control pills. It is advisable to use effective oral contraceptive pills during and for 7 days after the administration of Sugmadex 100mg Injection to avoid getting pregnant.
Can a patient with kidney disease be given Sugmadex 100mg Injection?
No, Sugmadex 100mg Injection is not recommended for use in patients with severe renal impairment, including those requiring dialysis.
